2010 Presentation Day News

The annual presentation and fun day took place on 18th July.
A good turnout for this years Presentation of nearly 100 players, parents, friends and relatives, plus fine weather all added up to a great day for everyone concerned. The day raised over £450 towards club funds which was probably a record, with special thanks to all the helpers on the day, especially Pete and Janet on the barbecue and also Trevor (The Plough Landlord) who supplied all the buns for the ' Barby' and the Chocolate cakes for tea.
The 'Mic Sheehan Challenge' for U10's in the morning was won by Chris Sharp (bowling) and 7 year old Meadow Thomas(batting) and thanks to Jason Hawkridge and our U13 County Girls Captain Daisy Lee for organising the event. After lunch the U13/U12/U11's took on the Mums who must have improved considerably as they scrambled a tie off the last ball. Following tea, the presentation and the raffle, The Dads took on the U15/U14's and won by 20 runs to complete a memorable occasion, with Lol Geere getting man of the Match for the Dads, and Adam Bevan getting the award for the Boys.
